As I was strolling through Grand Central today, I noticed the American flag like I had never noticed it before - with that beautiful Grand Central ceiling behind it. Quickly, so as not to disturb the busy commuters, I grabbed my little orange camera and snapped a photo of it. And I am so glad I did because I absolutely love the perspective of this shot. Makes me want to break out the Star Spangled Banner. Oh wait. Are we even allowed to recite the Star Spangled Banner anymore?
Regardless, it makes me think of my nephew, Tye, who's serving in Afghanistan right now. He's an amazing guy and I am honored to have him fight for our freedom. Thanks, Tye.
And thank you, Canon, for another fabulous shot!
