One night when Charles and I were having dinner at Mitchell's Fish Market in Connecticut, our waiter had a great idea. He said, "I've always wanted someone to take a really great shot of the Hermes statue at Grand Central."Of course, I accepted his challenge.
While I think my Canon 7D would do this shot much more justice, my PowerShot did quite an amazing job, considering the cloudiness of the day.
I mean, look at the color of the clock! I still get amazed how a little PowerShot can capture such intense colors in an image. The gold is vibrant, the marble stunning. Thank you 18.1 megapixels.
Hermes would be proud. I know I am.
Danny The Waiter, this pic is for you.
